Vasa was a Swedish King, who lived long years ago

You'd think he'd be forgotten but that is not so;

For when in 1523 he freed the Swedes from the Danes, He insured a place in history to his immortal fame.

So now we've taken Vasa's name that all the world might see,

The heritage he left for us when he set Sweden free;

And from this we take our mottos; Truth, and Unity,

And to always treat our fellow men with Generosity.
